Dear Sir/Madam, I hope this email finds you well. My name is Nour Lakhal, a Tunisian citizen currently holding a valid Tunisian passport that is due to expire on 14 December 2026. I am contacting you because I urgently need to renew my passport in order to comply with Austrian legal requirements for my employment and upcoming work permit application. The Austrian authorities require my passport to be valid for at least two more years at the time of submission, and my current passport no longer meets this requirement. In this regard, I would kindly like to ask for your guidance on the following: Is it possible to renew my passport on the same day or through an expedited procedure due to the urgency of my employment situation? I live in Vienna but work in Salzburg and commute regularly, therefore same-day issuance or a short processing time would be extremely helpful to avoid work interruption. What documents are required in order to submit the passport renewal application? Are there any fees to be paid, and what are the accepted payment methods?
