I am a Philippine passport holder residing in the Philippines, and I am planning to visit Tunisia as a cruise passenger in 2027. I would like to confirm whether I need to obtain a Tunisian visa for the following situation: Philippine passport holder Visiting Tunisia as a cruise passenger Arriving at a Tunisian port aboard the cruise ship Going ashore for a shore excursion/tour Departing Tunisia on the same cruise ship on the same day No overnight stay in Tunisia I hold valid multiple-entry visas for the United States, Canada, Japan, and Schengen countries. I have found conflicting information regarding visa requirements for Philippine passport holders. Some sources state that Filipinos may enter Tunisia without a visa for short stays, while other information indicates that Philippine citizens require a visa in advance. Could you please clarify: Do I need a Tunisian visa for a same-day cruise-port visit if I arrive and depart Tunisia on the same cruise ship? If a visa is required, what type of visa should I apply for? Can I apply through your Honorary Consulate in Makati/Manila, or must the application be submitted to the Tunisian Embassy in Jakarta? Is a physical passport/sticker visa required, or is there currently an eVisa or visa-on-arrival facility for Philippine citizens?
